The School has always adhered to the principle of learning for practical application, cultivating both virtue and talent, aiming to cultivate application-oriented management talents that meet market demands. The School has achieved remarkable results in faculty development, practical teaching, and talent training.

Meanwhile, the School has established internship and training bases with multiple well-known enterprises, providing students with abundant internship and employment opportunities. Industry elites are regularly invited to give lectures and participate in course teaching, offering students the latest industry insights and practical experience.

Emphasis on Practical Teaching Based on the regional economic development needs, the School has designed a three-tier skill development path of “Foundation – Collaboration – Creation,” restructuring the logic of practice-oriented education. In terms of practical platforms, the School’s “Experimental Zone for Innovative Training of Application-Oriented Management Talents” was recognized as the second batch of provincial-level experimental zones for talent training innovation in Jilin Province; the “Modern Enterprise Management Experimental Teaching Center” was rated as a provincial-level model center for experimental teaching; and the “Jilin Province Research Base for Modern Enterprise Management Talent Training” was recognized as the second batch of “Higher Education Research Bases in Jilin Province.” By simulating real business environments, students consolidate theoretical knowledge in practice. The School also actively organizes students to participate in various competitions, achieving outstanding results in events such as the National College Student Simulation Competition.

Frontier-Oriented CurriculumThe School regularly updates its curriculum with an application-oriented approach, inviting industry experts to participate in course revisions and launching frontier courses such as “Big Data Analysis and Decision Making,” while eliminating outdated content to ensure the knowledge is up-to-date. Supporting textbooks have been compiled, incorporating the latest practical cases and industry knowledge to enhance practicality and timeliness. In recent years, the School has published 8 monographs and 3 textbooks. Notable achievements in curriculum development include one provincial-level curriculum ideological and political demonstration project, one provincial-level excellent case in curriculum ideological and political education, two provincial first-class courses, one provincial-level innovation and entrepreneurship reform demonstration course, one first batch of provincial school-enterprise co-developed courses, and one provincial-level excellent course.
